The prices are very cheap and there are a lot of snacks and drinks. However, the cashier's attitude is very bad. It is difficult to ask her for help when there are problems using the self-service cash register. Moreover, it is unreasonable to have only one person at the cashier. It is recommended that there be at least two people at the cashier.

It would be nice if they had an educated cashier.
Hao Tien Qu
It was too crowded in front of the cooked food counter.

Unpleasant experience with the staff especially at the chicken feet counter. They forced us to buy the chicken feet while tasting the free sample, with an annoyed tone and facial expression. We will not visit anymore.

The sales lady in charge today was rude! Instead of helping at the checkout counter, she was only interested in checking my bag and the items inside that I had paid for, to see whether I was shoplifting or taking things away for free. I asked her what was wrong, but she never even bothered to answer. She just said, 'Nothing.' Please remove your self-service counter if you think all your customers are thieves.

Good deals at the supermarket. Can't say the same about the fast food inside, though. I think coming here for the supermarket only would be better.
The eating area is quite bad and not cleaned. Still, the food is decent for a decent price, but I would rather pay for a McSpicy meal if eating in. Maybe it would be OK if you're just ordering takeaway.

Love Scarlett for cheap drinks and snacks, and this one has a hot food section.
It's hard to find places with tea eggs nowadays! But the tea egg here disappointingly just tastes like a normal boiled egg. Other reviewers seem to enjoy their other hot foods, so I might give them a try if I'm in the area again, but the tea eggs are disappointing.
Just go opposite Bugis Street and find the shop with a little tea egg pot instead. It's $1 for one egg there and more authentic.

The yam potato balls are delicious!! They're so well cooked. I'm planning to try their other stuff soon.

It just opened recently. You can get snacks from China here, as well as groceries.
You can get freshly made burgers and Shen Jian Bao.
For $5 a box, you can get vegetable options, such as pickled vegetables, and for $10, meat varieties such as sliced pork and beef tripe.

We bought a whole bunch of hot foods. The friendly guy manning the hot foods station was so friendly and kind; he even gave us free sweet potato balls to try without expecting us to buy. He was so approachable and chatty too! The foods were delicious and really affordable. The 小酥肉 was super fresh and juicy, with a super generous portion. The sweet potato balls were super good, not the typical airy kind. And the 生煎包 was pretty good as well. Yums!

Scarlett Supermarket @ Bugis+ (思家客武吉士店) Review
Located on the second floor of Bugis+, Scarlett Supermarket offers a wide range of Chinese snacks, beverages, and instant meals. It’s a go-to spot for anyone looking to stock up on unique Chinese products you might not easily find elsewhere in Singapore.
What’s Good:
Huge variety: From popular spicy hotpot bases and instant noodles to trending snacks like Lay’s localized flavors and White Rabbit candies, the selection is impressive.
Affordable pricing: Prices are generally reasonable, and there are often promotions or bundle deals.
Convenient location: Right in the heart of Bugis, it’s super accessible.
Clean and well-organized: The store layout makes browsing enjoyable even when it’s a bit crowded.
What Could Be Better:
Crowded during peak hours: Especially on weekends, it can feel a bit cramped.
Limited fresh items: It’s mostly packaged goods—don’t expect fresh produce or cooked meals here.
Some items lack English labels: Might be tough for non-Mandarin speakers to figure out what certain things are.
Verdict:
A fun and vibrant place to explore Chinese snacks and pantry staples. Great for both nostalgic shoppers and curious snackers. Worth a visit if you're in Bugis and want something a bit different from your usual supermarket run.
God Bless
