I want to thank Owndays and staff member Amos for helping turn my lousy day of losing my own pair of glasses on the bus into one of acceptance, relief, and gratitude. He was patient, reassuring, and helped me get the cheapest pairs (with a discount for two) because I had lost two pairs in two years (or was it even shorter). I am glad they still have my records, and I was VERY appreciative that he was happy for me that my eyesight had only increased by 25 degrees per eye in two years. They are really professional and kind. I got my two pairs within 20 minutes, and the service was so fast that I wasn't even looking at my watch. I recommend lah!

It's all false advertising, guys! We feel misled by your promotions, Owndays. If the glass cleanser and cloth are only available to customers who make a purchase on the same day, then please be clear about that in your promotions. Telling people that they just need to follow your social media accounts to receive the free gifts is misleading. We did receive the items, but left your store on April 13 around 9 PM feeling unappreciated due to the attitude of your staff. On top of that, we felt nauseated by the strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from your visibly unhappy staff. It was an unpleasant experience, and unfortunately, we’ve decided not to return for future purchases.

I went to a couple of Owndays outlets to have specs made for my family. The Bugis+ outlet offers the best service, thanks to Ms Chloe Leong. She gave a very sound diagnosis and great advice. What wowed me was that I was very uncomfortable with the progressive lenses I had made. Patiently, she explained the various options (such as adapting to the 'floating effect' for first-time progressive lens wearers, or splitting into individual pairs of single-vision lenses instead). She gave recommendations and explained the differences between the available frame choices. I highly recommend looking for Ms Chloe Leong at Bugis+. She is very professional, patient, and knowledgeable.

Shoutout to a staff named Ken. I didn't notice that this outlet closed at 9pm. I arrived around half past 8 pm and was told by another staff member that I would need to collect another day since they closed by 9pm. However, customer-satisfaction-oriented Ken went the extra mile to ensure I got it without having to go for another trip. I appreciate the extra mile and kind gesture from Ken.

Before my visit to the Bugis outlet, I admit I was a little apprehensive, having seen some recent Google reviews mentioning rude staff. However, my experience couldn't have been more different! I went in to purchase new glasses with transition lenses. A lady named Chloe served me, and from the moment we began, she was incredibly patient and professional. Even when I mentioned I might not make a purchase that day, she remained consistently helpful and positive as I took my time selecting frames. Her exceptional customer service and warm demeanour ultimately convinced me to make my purchase on the spot. I walked out with a fantastic pair of lightweight titanium specs and my new transition lenses, all thanks to Chloe. I'm not sure if there's more than one Chloe at this outlet, but the one who assisted me truly exemplified outstanding customer service. She turned what I expected to be a tricky visit into a delightful and successful shopping experience.

Terrible experience. Avoid this OWNDAYS Bugis+ outlet. I went to collect my glasses after waiting 7 days—only to find out they were ready all along, but no one informed me. The staff at the store, especially a female employee named **Chloe**, was rude and unprofessional throughout. She kept pushing me to upgrade my lenses to the $258 blue light filter type, even though I clearly said I wanted the $110 basic ones. When I refused, she gave me a display set without informing me in advance that it was not new. The glasses were full of fingerprints, and when I asked her to clean them, she refused. What shocked me most was that she stopped me from leaving the store simply because I had left a negative review. She repeatedly questioned me, refused to admit any fault, and even said, “CCTV shows I did nothing wrong.” She didn't even offer a glasses pouch; I had to carry the box in my hands. In contrast, a male staff member apologized immediately, but Chloe remained defensive and unrepentant. 👎 Poor service, limited stock, zero accountability. 🚩 If you don’t want to be pressured into upgrades or treated rudely, stay away from this branch.
