Odoroki at Bugis+ introduces Singapore to the fascinating world of Japanese pop-up capsule machines, offering an innovative retail experience that combines the excitement of surprise collectibles with the convenience of automated vending technology. This unique concept store operates specialized capsule machines, known as "gachapon" in Japan, that dispense collectible items, toys, and novelty products in small capsules, creating an entertaining shopping experience that appeals to both collectors and casual customers seeking unique Japanese pop culture items. The business represents the growing trend of Japanese entertainment retail concepts in Singapore, bringing the thrill of surprise purchases and the joy of collecting to Bugis+ shoppers who appreciate authentic Japanese cultural experiences and distinctive gift options.
The capsule machines feature carefully curated collections of Japanese collectibles, character merchandise, miniature toys, keychains, and novelty items that rotate regularly to maintain customer interest and encourage repeat visits. Each capsule contains surprise items that range from popular anime and manga characters to unique Japanese-designed accessories and miniature collectibles that reflect current trends in Japanese pop culture. The automated nature of the capsule machines creates an engaging, self-service shopping experience where customers can enjoy the anticipation and excitement of discovering which collectible they will receive, making each purchase a small adventure rather than a routine transaction.
Located within Bugis+ shopping centre at 201 Victoria Street, Odoroki benefits from the mall's excellent connectivity to Bugis MRT station and its position as a major retail destination for both local residents and tourists interested in Japanese culture and collectibles. The automated capsule machine format allows for extended operating hours that align with mall schedules while requiring minimal staffing, creating an efficient retail model that caters to impulse purchasing and gift-buying throughout the day. The store's unique concept attracts customers seeking authentic Japanese collectibles, parents shopping for children's toys, and tourists looking for distinctive Singapore shopping experiences that combine Japanese pop culture with modern vending technology in one of Singapore's most dynamic shopping environments.
Don't insert tokens too quickly, or your money will be eaten. It cost 5 yuan to get this dog, but because I was too quick, 2 yuan was eaten. So, this dog cost me a total of 7 bucks.

Here's the edited review:
You should change whoever is managing your WhatsApp Business account and/or the business. Your gashapon machine gave a totally different figure. We messaged your business account, but received no apology or expression of concern. You replied to our messages as though we had caused you trouble and inconvenience. We still had to accommodate your preferred outlet, day, and time for a 1-to-1 swap, and at your arbitrary convenience. You asked us to arrive before 8 PM, and we had to take the initiative and go through the hassle of messaging and calling you back and forth just to locate your staff. There was absolutely no communication within your own team about this. And again, you are the ones who caused us inconvenience and were not even apologetic about it. Even people who sell things on Carousell have more ethics and empathy than you. If you want to conduct business in this manner, then you might as well close down. You won't last long with this attitude anyway. Rest assured, we will not be patronising your business again.
