There was a long wait. Rice was served long before the soup came. The food warmers were so dirty (see picture). Servers were quite rude and unfriendly.

The Bak Kut Teh soup is very nice, and they also have a new menu. The Curry Fish is delicious; I love it. Service is very good (Kate, Xue, Lim Hock). I gave them a $30 tip 🥰. If there were 10 stars, I would surely give them all.

The BKT was not too bad, and the herbal taste was definitely there. The pork was also tender. The price is still reasonable, considering the shopping mall location.

Ordered soft bone set. Soup is not too salty but somewhat thin. Bean curd skin is too hard and dry even when eaten last. Wrong type used? Portion is good. Pea sprouts tasted too raw – please fry longer. Customer service is non-existent as orders are made via tablet. Wait staff just dropped food and walked away. I went during off-peak hours, yet staff weren't attentive enough to refill my free-flow tea. I usually don't complain, but I don't find the 10% service charge justified here. Unlikely to revisit since food is mediocre. I'd rather support local hawkers.

A little too much fluff for SGD 40.40. 😐 My rating would be better if the price were 25% lower or if more meat 🍖 were added. I came with an open mind, not checking reviews before tasting the food, but it looks 👀 like hundreds of reviewers before me share the same thoughts as my mum and me. The ambience was okay ✅ and staff were polite ✅, so the only thing that needs improvement is to reduce the undesirable rubbish and add more meat. Otherwise, the restaurant will start bleeding red and closing down. Don't make the mistake of stepping over pounds to pick up pennies 🌸.

Don't be fooled by the reviews here. I would honestly avoid this place if possible. Honestly, the standard of this restaurant is so far off from renowned brands like Song Fa BKT. Here's my opinion: 1. They only provide one soup refill, which is already a red flag. As a BKT restaurant, people come to your store for the soup. 2. The soup tasted mediocre. It was so bland, I had to add dark sauce. 3. The meat portion was pathetic. I asked the staff, and they told me it's fixed at 90g, which amounted to roughly 5 pieces. 4. The meat was very tough and felt like plastic. 5. Their salted egg à la carte dish is so much better than their BKT. Lastly, the staff almost burnt us. He switched the burner to max, and the flame just exploded.

The staff are very friendly and provide very good service. The food is delicious. The manager, Kate, is very good. I'm sure I will introduce friends and come back again. 🥰 #ThankYou❤️

It's not SG Bak Kut Teh, but the Malaysian style. It's an herbal claypot dish with a good taste and aroma. I ordered the soft pork bone set, served with stir-fried vegetables and deep-fried dough. I think it's a reasonable price. I like it.

Overpriced for just an okay meal. I'll grant that the soup was quite flavourful. However, the meat portion was tiny. The bones could fit in the tiny saucer! $4 to make it a set with rice is a rip-off tactic. The good thing is that it had air conditioning and wasn't crowded during lunchtime (which should've been a red flag).

I was craving a mouthwatering bowl of Klang-style Bak Kut Teh soup that will leave you wanting more, and found it at a spot inside a mall at Bugis Plus. Opt for their decent set meal for two, which includes delectable sides like tofu and veggies, perfect for sharing. And my top recommendation—the sesame oil dry udon. With this being my second visit, it's clear that this place is popular for good reason.
