Not worth the price. The unagi was too thin, and the portion was very small. I ordered the large one shown in the picture. Served by an aunty with a 'chir char' stall attitude. You need to ask for wasabi and spring onion. The soup tasted like hot water with a bit of dashi.

Enjoyed my eel meal here. It was a good portion (medium size) with tasty rice and well-cooked eel. The eel was not too dry, not overly strong in flavour, and just nicely balanced. While I've had better eel in Tokyo, this place seems quite traditional in presentation, and the use of coals when cooking provides a nice, tasty dish. If you're hungry, you will need sides as well, which looked okay. There was a small selection of beers and sake, typical for Singapore shopping centre restaurants.

Great ambiance. Staff was friendly and patiently explaining the difference between the unagi dishes. Price is above average. Unagi don set is tasty, flavorful. Sashimi and the edamame are fresh. Chawanmushi is delicious, but the ikura on top was not fresh and had a strong, weird smell and taste.

Pretty good unagi and presentation, allowing you to try it in different styles. Just like it's done in Japan. For the price, it is definitely worth going back whenever you have an unagi craving.

Their charcoal-grilled eel is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and melts in your mouth. Paired with chawanmushi, it’s a great choice.

The preserved food doesn’t look very fresh and seems to have been stored for a long time. The atmosphere near the game shop is noisy and not very comfortable. Additionally, there is room for improvement in the service—you can feel that when you're there.

Located on Level 5 of Bugis+, the restaurant offers friendly service. Though a bit pricey, the amount of unagi in each set is worth its weight, especially when slathered with BBQ sauce and served on chewy japonica rice. The ambience and refillable iced green tea simply made my day/evening!

As an unagi lover, this is highly endorsed. The unagi portion is generous, and it tastes very good without the flour taste that some restaurants' unagi has. The mentaiko roll is also very delicious.

Update on 17 Feb 2025: Today I ordered the Unagi Beef Shabu Jyu for $26.80. Worth it. The combo of unagi & beef is just so yummy 👍😋 I prefer the Onsen egg to the Chawanmushi. The staff are kind enough to allow me to swap it for the Onsen egg. The potato salad goes well with the food too. …………………… Previous post: This is one place I like to go for unagi. The Una Pork Jyu and Una Beef Shabu Jyu are my favorite. The Unagi is grilled to perfection. So Shiok 👍😋 The staff are friendly too. They even remember what I ordered 1 week ago. Weekends are very crowded. It's better to go on weekdays.

Great and affordable place to have unagi! I've been here a couple of times, and the quality has been consistent. Service is very quick, and food is usually served to you in under 10 minutes.
