Here's the lightly edited review:
One of the good Starbucks outlets. The place is organised, and the atmosphere is cozy. We came here after lunchtime; it was quite packed, but we managed to get a table.
We ordered a Matcha Burnt Cheesecake and an Espresso Frappuccino. The matcha cheesecake was very nice; it was less sweet, had a strong matcha taste, and was not too heavy (jelak). The drink was good and thick, not diluted.
We also ordered the Shiok-ah-ccino drink (Intense Coffee with Earl Grey Jelly) and a Tiramisu cake. The Intense Coffee drink had an interesting taste, but I couldn't really feel the coffee taste as "intense" as the name suggested. I could only feel a subtle taste of coffee, leaning more towards a chocolatey taste (like a Mocha). The Earl Grey jelly taste was okay; it had a strong Earl Grey flavor. The Tiramisu cake is now not as much of a "tiramisu" as it used to be. It had a very subtle coffee flavor for my liking, leaning more towards a chocolate sponge cake with a hint of coffee flavor and a bit of mascarpone cheese.
The staff were nice and friendly. They took my customised drink order correctly. The service was also good.
Recommended.

I was queuing to order, and initially, only one counter was open to take orders. When I was next in line, a second counter opened, and a male staff member (in a white top) at that counter asked me to wait for the first counter. He then served the person queuing behind me. I was really annoyed with this. Why didn't he serve me first, since I was next in line? Is this how Starbucks trains its staff?
I ordered a drink and cake, and the staff asked me to proceed to the pickup area. As there was a crowd at the pickup area, I went back to my seat. When the crowd dispersed at the pickup area, I went to check if my order was ready. On the way there, I found a cake (the same flavour as I ordered) at the cashier area. I went to ask one of the staff members, and she confirmed it was mine. Shouldn't they have called for me when the cake was ready, or placed it at the pickup area? Why was it at the cashier area, where people were ordering their drinks/food?
Service can definitely be improved at this outlet.

The food here is generally good. I often come here to chill and eat pastries. I got a creamy mushroom foldover, and it tasted great, although while cutting it I found two strands of short hair in the dish. I was surprised, but after presenting it to the staff, they changed the dish to a new one. The staff were moderately helpful, and the atmosphere was decent. It's definitely a cosy place to have a coffee or pastry.

I had a really bad experience here and wouldn't recommend anyone to come here. If you want drinks, just go to Bugis Junction instead.
I placed my order at 1:30 PM, and the staff (Amelia, 28) who took my order seemed new and very confused. She didn't seem to know what she was doing and told me something couldn't be done, even though I had done it at other outlets before. After ordering, she didn't ask for my name, so I had no idea when my drink would be ready.
Even after waiting for 30 minutes, my drink still wasn't made. Frustrated, I went up to ask about it, only to realize she had completely messed up my order. I had clearly and repeatedly ordered a Venti Chocolate Chip Frappé, but she instead placed an order for a Tall Java Chip Frappé. This was completely unacceptable.
After all this, I finally got it, and in total it took them 40 minutes. The staff (Amelia, 28) looked visibly unhappy, gave me attitude, and even slammed the cups down.
I'm never coming back here again.

A good place to rest and have a cup of coffee. Ample and comfortable seating. Fast and efficient service, but cleanliness could improve. Overall, I enjoyed the 30 minutes there.
