What a disappointment. Comparing this Poulet to the one at Jewel would be like comparing hell and heaven. So many things were horrible.
1. Service
Since we ordered three mains, we asked to be moved to a bigger table, as the restaurant was not crowded at the time. The staff were extremely unfriendly and acted as if we had demanded the most difficult thing in the world. Their horrible attitude ruined the dining atmosphere.
2. Food
First, let's talk about the famous mushroom risotto, which is highly praised at this place. The taste was, at best, 'meh,' completely relying on truffle oil for its flavor. Even worse, the rice was cooked unevenly.
If you thought that was bad, let's talk about the signature roasted chicken that Poulet boasts. The one served at Jewel was extremely tender, fresh, and juicier. The one served at Bugis, however, tasted like it was a day old. The meat was not tender, and the signature mushroom cream sauce was not as flavorful, making the stale chicken smell very prominent.
Overall, the Poulet at Bugis was a complete letdown. I strongly recommend choosing another restaurant from the many others beside it.

Dined at Bugis+ outlet with my family today. They changed to a new menu, but the food quality has dropped. The old menu is so much better. Miss the signature chicken with creamy mushroom sauce. Please bring back the old menu!!
Service was great though, especially Manager Iz.

We waited for 30 minutes for the food. The staff member, Nora, told us this wasn't fast food. So we asked her how long the wait would be. She told us it would take about 20 minutes, but we informed her we had already waited 30 minutes. We wanted to cancel the order, but they insisted it was coming, so we waited for another 10 minutes. They kept telling us they were busy. They claimed that steak would take a longer time to prepare. Ultimately, people who ordered after us had already received their orders. And out of our three orders, the one she claimed would take the longest ended up being served first. When we went to the counter, we realized they were constantly preparing takeaway orders. It was a very bad experience, and I will ask all my friends to boycott this place. Only three plates took more than 30 minutes to be served. This should have been made known to us, and don't tell me this isn't fast food. I wanted to scold her right then and there: "Your service is worse than a fast food restaurant's, yet you still dare to say that!"

The chicken is nice. But the staff in the restaurant is horrible. There was a large staff member (I'm sorry, I don't know their name, and couldn't even tell their gender because they wore a mask). The person was super rude and looked like they hated this job. Everything was thrown onto my table. Why? Is your pay very low? Complain to MOM!

Food was perfect. Service was good. A minor problem: the chicken steak was a little small.

Absolutely Cluck-tastic! A Must-Try at Poulet Bugis+
Poulet at Bugis+ delivered an absolutely delightful French-inspired dining experience, leaving me thoroughly impressed and eager to return. From the moment we stepped in, the inviting ambiance set the stage for a fantastic meal.
The star of the show, undoubtedly, was their signature Roast Chicken (Poulet Roti). Cooked to perfection, the chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, practically falling off the bone. The accompanying mushroom cream sauce was rich, flavourful, and the perfect complement to the succulent meat – I could have happily had a bowl of the sauce on its own!
Beyond their famed chicken, the other dishes shone brightly too. The Truffle Mashed Potatoes were a decadent and aromatic side that elevated the meal, and the creamy Mushroom Soup was a comforting and delicious starter. Every dish showcased a commitment to quality ingredients and classic French techniques, all while remaining surprisingly affordable.
Service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal, adding to the overall positive experience. For a taste of delightful French cuisine that won't break the bank, Poulet Bugis+ is a standout choice. Five stars – highly recommended for a satisfying and flavourful meal!

We had a generally enjoyable dining experience, as the food was excellent overall. However, there was an issue with one of our orders—the salmon pot pie. It was unfortunately overlooked initially and arrived more than 30 minutes late. When it did arrive, the mashed potato was still cold, and the salmon was undercooked. Upon raising the concern, the staff promptly replaced the dish, but this added to the delay.
That said, we appreciated that no service charge was applied, which was a considerate gesture. Despite this hiccup, the server attending to us was exceptional. She patiently waited for me to try the dish and ensured it was cooked to my preference, demonstrating a high level of attentiveness and professionalism.
While the experience was impacted by an unfortunate circumstance, we still recognize the quality of the food and the dedication of the staff. We hope for a smoother experience on our next visit.

Great service; no queue on a Saturday at 12:40 PM. Wait time for the meal was reasonable.
My drink, ordered without ice, tasted decent. But the mint leaves and lemon paired exceptionally well with the medium-rare beef.
The sour taste of the salad could be improved; it was different from lemon sourness.

Love their service! Food was great and the highlight for me was their tiramisu. Their homemade iced lemon tea is great as well. Staff were really friendly and proactive. Will definitely come back again ❤️

I came here for the 3 course meal. The half chicken in sauce is amazing. It tastes savory. The starter is an interesting one. Friendly staff with great service.

I usually go to the Changi branch, but this was my first time at the Victoria outlet, and I’ve got to say, the service here is just as great. Definitely one of the best spots to dine in, both for the food and the service. The flavors never disappoint. I especially love the crème brûlée, rich vanilla flavor that’s strong but not overwhelming. The tiger prawns on the pasta were springy with just the right seasoning, and the truffle fries were crispy without being dry. Everything was just spot on!

I have visited this place a few times, but my last visit was probably the most meaningful. Iz greeted us warmly and listened attentively to our request for a large group of twelve. He explained the menu in detail and helped us make our decisions. Jamaliah served us, and was very patient and kind—a lovely lady. This particular lunch felt even more special because of their excellent service. As always, we ordered the seafood stew, which is my go-to dish every time I visit this outlet.

A great casual French spot for a relaxed Friday lunch—no queue and prompt service. We had the breaded fish with mash and salad, salmon with mac & cheese and salad, chicken carbonara, and a mushroom dish. All were tasty with generous portions. Prices are affordable, and the self-ordering system is efficient. Will return!
