A huge shoutout to the fantastic service at Suki-ya! Our server, Mrs. Editha, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the food, provided excellent recommendations, and went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. We felt truly valued and will definitely be back soon!

Can't go wrong with Suki-Ya's all-you-can-eat, to the point of bursting. We prefer pork slices; beef can be tougher. Lots of veggies and carb choices. Standard fare, but shiok.

On 5th May, my family and I went to Suki-Ya Bugis outlet for dinner at about 8:35 PM. When some of us were still taking our ingredients, a staff member rushed us to put in the ingredients quickly, even though the soup was not fully boiled yet. Later, the same staff member rushed us again and claimed that they were closing when it was only 9:43 PM. She said that they needed to close by 9:50 PM because they needed to clean up, and she wanted to turn off our hotpot despite seeing that we still had uncooked food, still had ingredients in the pot, and were still eating. The website clearly stated that they close at 10:00 PM. Shouldn't customers be allowed to eat until 10:00 PM unless otherwise stated? The staff didn't tell us that we needed to finish eating by 9:50 PM when we first came in; we were only told that last order was at 9:30 PM. We understand that it's not easy to work in F&B, but this shouldn't be how customers are treated. She was not polite, and her rudeness affected our appetite. When she was clearing the tables, she was making a lot of noise, and it seemed intentional and directed at us. If that was the case, they should have told us upfront that they were not accepting any more customers, as eating hotpot takes time, which they should be fully aware of. Or, at the very least, they should have informed us of their 9:50 PM closing time, instead of suddenly announcing it. Our understanding, based on their website, was that they closed at 10:00 PM. This is not the first time we have eaten at this outlet, but it is the first time we have been treated this way. We are not sure if other customers have faced similar treatment.

The clams dish was amazing, and service by Restaurant Manager Suk Chen was immaculate as usual. We followed her from Bukit Panjang Plaza outlet, and it is Suki-Ya’s luck to have such a hardworking and friendly manager on their payroll.

We had a wonderful experience thanks to Edith’s exceptional service! She was warm, attentive, and genuinely went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find someone so professional yet personable. Thank you, Edith, for making our first visit so enjoyable.
